How can I get my money back from a website that scammed me (locoauctions.com)?

Ok, I don't think I was actually scammed. Here's what happened: I got onto a penny auction site called locoauctions.com. They are now apparently owned by Winbids LLC. I won an Amazon Kindle and paid for it. This was at the beginning of April. I still have not received it. I have tried calling many times, and I have sent many emails, but no response. I checked out reviews for the site, and they all seemed to be very positive. So I left many bad reviews to warn people (I warned Loco Auctions before I did this as a sort of threat, but they didn't respond). Then after awhile, I found someone else that has the same problem with the site. But only recently. Which makes me think that they were once a legitimate website, but ran out of money or something else, so they just left the site how it was, with about 8 reserve auctions going. I'm pretty sure nothing else has changed on the site sense I was on. If anyone could help me with my dilemma, it would be much appreciated.
