What was Sammy Hagar's best album in any band or solo?

I know alot of people didn't like him in Van Halen even though i do not mind some Sammy Hagar songs in Van Halen but anyway what do u think of the 1st album he ever made, Montrose, by Montrose. I have to admit i have never heard of Montrose until i stumbled upon them today, cause i always love discovering new clic hard rock and metal bands, and after listening to that album i think that it might just be the best work Sammy Hagar has ever done! What do all of u think?
