I will admit my son has a drinking problem.BUT has never hurt his little girl.They live here with us.Can she?

I am a grandmother who has been raising my grandson for the past 4 years because his parents were too unstable and selfish to care for him. I have legal guardianship of him and will until the parents are fit. Which may be never. You should see an attorney to see what steps you need to take to protect this child. In the meantime, doent any incidents that happen so that you can begin to have proof of the neglect and abuse. If you could get your son to sign the papers, that would be a start. It doesn't mean that he will lose the child, just that you will have temporary say over your grandchild. Good luck.
