I need to know what book this is, any ideas?

In this book there's an older sister who gets killed in a fourth of july accident. She comes back a few years later to protect her little sister from certain things, don't remember exactly what. But instead a different family live there and she ends up protecting that families little girl and she sings the 'nobody loves me, everybody hates me, so im going to the garden to eat worms' song, as a lullaby. but in the end her little sister come back, all grown up and old, and tells her what happens and releases her into the heavens... i have no idea what this book is called and it wold be a big help if you could help me out please and thank you!?
