Should I have a birthday party or a 5th grade graduation party?

They're both really good ideas, so how about a combination of both? My friend's b-day was pretty close to our graduation, so she had a cobination of a birthday party and a graduation party. Have every kinda dress up and bring gifts, but also make it so that it's kinda of a good-bye type of thing too. Hope this helps! :-)
