Why do fundamentalists distrust and refute scientists?

Funny how they refute and distrust science, yet they've embraced every single invention credited to science as a means to spread their message: television, radio, the internet (youtube). And if science were to one day prove the existence of God, you better believe they'd be the first ones on that bandwagon. Ludicrous!
